        Thanks for your response.

        I am afraid you are referring to the old(er) version of the
        LRM, which had an N'Reference that would specify a
        reference terminal of the nature. But
        that was changed in the IEEE 1998 ballot resolution -
        N'Reference removed and nature declaration (also) declares
        the name of the reference terminal.

        Take a look at LRM - 23 Dec 1999 (approved on Mar 18, 199(
        or go to http://www.vhdl.org/vi/analog and
        look under document archives for "IEEE 1998 ballot resolution"
