Ernst started the meeting at 8:05 am PDT. Attendees constitute a quorum.

August 12, 2015 minutes were approved with no objections.
Patent policy
Ernst offered to show the patent policy, but presentation was unnecessary since the attendees are all regulars.

Approval process for LCSsThe LCS process consists of the following steps
- LCS author claims LCS number and uploads the document to Language Change Specifications area
- WG assigns reviewers
- Reviewers write analysis and upload review comments
- LCS author responds to the comments
- WG approves LCS
- LRM Editot updates LRM
Proposal and review status of the LCS is updated in the
Language Change Specifications area. The process was confirmed by the WG.
Project discussions
Approval of LCSs 201x-03, 201x-04, 201x-06
The
Language Change Specifications are available in the Member-only area.The LCS 201x-03 concerning "Architecture statements" (after adding a further comment by Ernst) and LCS 201x-06 regarding "Sequential statements" have been approved by the WG. Ernst will add a note in LCS 201x-04 (Types and natures) about shifting the one-dimensional array nature example to clause 6 (new LRM section numbering). He will also provide an example on the benefit of unbounded nature definition. Approval of LCS 201x-04 was postponed.
Analysis of LCSs 201x-01, 201x-02, 201x-05, 201x-09
LCS 201x-01 (External names), LCS 201x-02 (Simulation cycle), and LCS 201x-09 (Design units and their analysis) will be reviewed by Alain. Zhichao will review LCS 201x-05 (Expressions).
Review of LCSs 201x-07, 201x-08,
LCS 201x-10No assignment of reviews was done for LCS 201x-07 Specifications) and LCS 201x-08 (Scope and visibility). LCS 201x-10 (Lexical elements) is in strong relation to the LRM update and will be reviewed by Alain.
Other projectsThere was no progress of other projects (Table-Driven Modeling, Vector/Matrix Operations, Miscellaneous Minor Functionality Improvements) reported.
LRM statusThe
P1076.1-201X LRM editing information is provided in the Member-only area. Alain prepared the
starting document for the LRM revision dated August 11, 2015. There are three other PDFs that consider LCSs for clause 11 Architectural statement, clause 14 Elaboration and execution, and annex I Glossary in separate files.
Next steps
Ernst will sent the project plan of the WG to DASC (Stan Krolikoski). For further details regarding the status see the
