<strong>Approval of February 18, 2015 minutes<br /></strong>The [[WGMmFeb1815][February 18, 2015 minutes]] were approved after correction, with a motion by Alain seconded by Zhichao.

<strong>Patent policy<br /></strong>Ernst offered to show the patent policy, but presentation was unnecessary since the attendees are all regulars.

<strong>PAR extension</strong><br />Extension request will be considered by the New Standards Committee on June 5, 2015. It is expected that the new PAR will be valid till the end of 2017.

<strong>Table-driven modelling<br /></strong>Reading a simple CSV file format can be supported. Each dataline represents a table data point. Numbers are separated by characters that can be qualified in the function call. The number of lines that shall be skipped at the beginning of a file shall be an argument of the corresponding function. Further arguments shall be among others the dimension of independent variables and the number of the column that represents dependet values. Default values must be assigned to the arguments to assure a simple use.

IBIS provides a complex file format to specify input and output buffers. Table-driven modelling is needed by IBIS related tools. However, handling of the IBIS format is beyond the scope of the TDM project and will not be supported.

<strong>Vector/Matrix Operations<br /></strong>Zhichao contacted David Bishop. He pointed out among others to the question regarding COMPLEX_TO_POLAR "What is unit and range of angle?" and to the problem how to get real and imaginary part of a complex vector/matrix. There was an extensive review of the Vector/Matrix package in last summer with comments of about 6 to 7 people. Further coordination of activities with the 1076 WG is necessary.

<strong>LRM status<br /></strong>Alain also added clause 16 to the baseline document. Ernst presented the next steps that are outlined in the [[%ATTACHURL%/mtg_slides150408.pdf][meeting slides]]. The outline was influenced by the requirements resulting from the PAR extension. Alain pointed to questions concerning tagging the Framemaker source. It must be possible to create the VHDL-AMS as well as the VHDL document. Numbering of draft versions in accordance with IEEE requirements is necessary.

<strong>Administrative issues<br /></strong>The P&Ps update will be done in future to remove the position of the treasurer.

It is open how to handle new packages -either as part of the standard that would require handling the copyright of material or as open source material. Ernst pointed out that in his opinion discussions related to the material by the WG close the door for the open source procedure.
