Block Interfaces

• Peter responded to Brent's example on the reflector
• Jim: It is a fairly complicated example, can someone provide a drawing?
• Need to make sure language design addresses both RTL and verification
• Lots of email traffic - see reflector.

Specifying Generics on Usage of Object

• Block introduces specification of a generic on a port object when it is used and does not require a separate instance - in a similar fashion to an entity/component instance specifying it when the entity is used.
• Would be a nice thing to be able to use in other places.

Add Generics to Types (in Particular Protected Types).

• Jim recently posted a proposal for this on the requirements page
• Briefly discussed rationale
• Jim: AI Post examples of usage.
