IEEE P1076.1 WG Officer Elections : Call for nominations

Hi All,

This is a call for nominations for the election of officers of the IEEE P1076.1 Working Group. The election is necessary because the term of offices has expired. I have been appointed to act as Returning Officer for the election of

the Chair of the IEEE P1076.1 WG,
the Vice-Chair and
the Treasurer.

Please forward nominations by return email to me not later than Thursday, November 14, 2013 - 12pm PST.

All officers shall be members of the working group. The Chair and the Vice-Chair shall also be individual IEEE-SA members and members of the IEEE and the DASC. The nomination and election procedures base on the Policies and Procedures for the IEEE P1076.1 Working Group (Approved by DASC on October 6, 2011) - available via http://www.eda-twiki.org/twiki/pub/P10761/WebHome/OperatingProcedures2011.pdf

As I receive nominations, I will confirm with the nominees that they are eligible and willing to stand. Nominations may come from any participant and I encourage all of you to consider this. Self-nominations will also be accepted. As a last bit of information, confirmed nominees may submit a position statement, if they wish, to be included with the announcement of the nominees at the start of the election voting period. However, we do not require position statements for this election.
