Dear 1076.1 working group member,
Let me wish you first a successful and challenging Year 2000. It is now
time for me to pass on the working group Chair position to Tom Kazmierski.
Now that the 1076.1-1999 standard is out, that the final LRM is about to be
available (I recently checked with the IEEE) and that a number of VHDL-AMS
tools are available, it is time to put the language to real work and to
enhance its environment. I'm convinced that Tom is the best person to drive
the working group to address these issues and I wish him good success. I'll
keep my position as the secretary and I'll continue to be involved in new
developments around the 1076.1 standard.
