  • Needs champion.
  • Syntax offers little over current capability.
• 105: Operator overloading for protected types ProtectedTypeOperators
  • There is no assignment for protected types
  • A better option seems to be to support FunctionInterface
• 106: DynamicRewiring
  • Seems like we have another proposal for this already
  • Also it may be able to be worked into the interfaces proposal
• 107: SignalPools
  • subsumed by interfaces / bundles
• 108: UserDefIOrules
  • most likely to subsumed by interfaces / bundles
• 109: 2State
  • This is a language revision that is trying to address a compiler optimization.
• Next Meeting:
  • Wrap up on this discussion of the list and look for champions.
  • Reorganize proposal list to group related approved items
  • Put proposal list in order of priority
  • Create rejected list and some time maybe list
  • Restart Interface Discussion
    • Lieven cannot do detailed work on it until July
